bobbythed Posted December 28, 2016 Share Posted December 28, 2016 So imagine you're new to the server and play an hour or so getting tarped and missing jumps on lava days. It's frustrating, but you see those guys having fun in LR everyday and persist with that dream in your head. You finally make it and this random popup appears on your screen. Instinct is to remove it ASAP so you smash your 1 key and instantly begin playing arguably the worst (and most confusing) LR, Charizard. Poorly written short stories aside, I see new players pick Charizard something like 80% of the time. The problem is due to the LR menu being alphabetized, which I'm not claiming is a bad thing in and of itself. I have a couple ideas on solutions to this minor issue. 1. Add a "special" option as the first item in the menu which pops up a description of each LR and maybe of LR rules in general. This would make the default option learning about the server and the situation they are in at the moment. 2. Have a pole on the forums where each LR is voted for by the community and reorganize the list in that order. This would hopefully make the default option a reasonable game for noobs (probably Deagle Toss?) and as a side benefit make it so I don't have to scroll three pages deep to find knife fights or race. They Should reorganise the List in Popularity order so thing like gun toss and race will be on the first page Instead That way new players dont just pick the first lr they see and end up hating it.
