Champ Kind Posted January 27, 2017 Share Posted January 27, 2017 Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce offered an apology of sorts to Super Bowl referee Carl Cheffers during a television interview Thursday after saying he should never officiate again. Kelce was upset after the Chiefs lost 18-16 to visiting Pittsburgh in the second round of the NFL playoffs. Cheffers whistled Chiefs offensive tackle Eric Fisher for holding to nullify a two-point conversion that would have pulled Kansas City level in the final seconds.
