Even though source can theoretically run a multiplayer server of 255 simultaneous clients. We saw tonight how 96 players on a reasonably optimized map, stuttered on every client. Proposal: [HG] Zombie Survival East [#1] - 64/64[HG] Zombie Survival West [#2] - 64/64 And knowing that srcds.exe is a single-threaded application; dividing one server into two smaller ones will have great performance benefits. Each server can share the exact same content if you wish. Clients with poor internet latency will be able to connect to one server that will give a better connection, thus benefiting everyone. There are discussions in progress over the current performance issues and it is being looked into. Have the leaders thought of advertising the forum more on the game servers? That way players get more involved with the community over the server. This will also make IP changes an easier transition.
