"Comcast, Verizon and AT&T want to end net neutrality so they can charge extra fees to control what we see & do online. On July 12, we take the first step to stop them. This is a battle for the Internet's future."

Ending net neutrality can cause many issues for everybody who uses the internet. Just a few of them are:

  • No privacy for internet users - This means that companies such as Comcast will be able to see everything you do. And yes, even your furry/anime/whatever porn you have.

  • The sale of speed - Companies such as Comcast could potentially create a two-tier system for internet speed, which could involve extorting websites for startups and gaming communities such as HellsGamers for money in order to run at an acceptable speed, or even charging the USERS of said websites.

To prevent this from happening, go to https://www.battleforthenet.com and send to the FCC and congress telling them to stop this!

And no, this isn't advertising.

Yes it is true that in fact that some large companies are striking against Net Neutrality (The principle that ISP's should enable access to all content and applications regardless of the source, and without favoring or blocking particular products or websites). You can check out this video to learn more about the issue and what you can do to help.

Basically without Net Neutrality Enforcement (Which the US currently has), then ISP's (Internet Service Providers) could charge extra in order to "unlock" certain portions of the internet. These portions could mean having to buy packages such as Social Media, Gaming, and Video Sharing. So in order to go on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, you would have to buy the Social Media package for your internet. For any game source website such as Steam, and EA you would have to buy the Gaming package, and for youtube you'd have to buy the Video Sharing package. I ASSUME most people with right minds would absolutely hate this.

I have already put in my voice on the issue, and I STRONGLY suggest you do as well, through this link https://www.fcc.gov/...q=name:((17-108)) (It is the FCC government website so it is trustworthy), you simply press the +Express button on that page and stand your ground on the issue, all it takes is 5 minutes max.

This link is the link to the Court Proceeding sparked by Aleta Bowers, so the more input from public, the better.

I don't understand this and i could care less if they see my history of "thicc thighs for my eyes" and "anime tiddies"..

It's not about your internet history alone... You should actually read what this is about because it affects everyone on the internet.

This is why it is good to live in a second-world country. We are too poor for this kind of stuff so they hopefully won't be putting this on our backs aswell. I signed this because I consider internet privacy to be a human right. I also think that the entire thing with the packages is just one step further into creating an ideal consumeristic policy for the internet companies... If this comes to life, people will be forced to become the ultimate and infinite consumer and victim of the maniac above. Les get em bois!
