So i bought modern warfare 2, was all excited. Went to install it and remembered i had to reinstall The first one cause my headset was plugged in during installation. So i unplugged it and installed the game. After the install finished, i restarted and plugged in headset to get on vent, and i get this: "USB Device not recognized. One of the USB devises attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it." I plugged it in to different USB ports, same thing, i even plugged into friends laptop, my laptop, and moms laptop and got the same message every time. I don't understand how it can go from working one minute, to broken the next. I thought maybe just something simple was wrong and thought i should post here, see if anyone has had smiler problems and may have a solution. Thanks.

-Edit: Headset is a Plantronics Audio 655

Assuming you're not silly and are running Windows 7, you can give running Windows update with the headset plugged in and taking a look at the optional updates list. WU has been pretty good to me on 7.

Otherwise, probably want to try to pull down drivers from the manufacturer's website.
