When you first get a message beacon you can change it whether it be custom, don't cade here etc. Here's the thing though. As soon as you place it down it says the message. But if you pick it back up and change the message whether it be custom etc... It will always go to meet up here no matter what you change it to. Even if its not custom Hope This is accounted for.
