zs_randomfactory has been on rotation for almost a year now, and I was wondering what people thought of it.

 

V3 is imminent. If you have bugs to report or suggestions to suggest, please feel free. (especially if it's a suggestion related to that last question)

Mainly when u look at the zombie spawn with the fence in the corner of the map

 

That's what I thought. That area is prop-heavy and the city's over there.

 

I thought I optimized it pretty well with areaportals and hint brushes, but looking at it now, a lot of stuff that doesn't need to be drawn gets drawn because apparently a building with a closed areaportal area doesn't block out what's behind it. I might be able to fix this now that I have a better understanding of occluders.
