0x48756776
Just noticed when visiting the website today that I had to disable my ublock origin plugin to access the website. The website has been tagged as part of a malware domain. https://imgur.com/UnSDzfg When I visit the site that uBlock pulls it's site listing from: https://www.malwaredomains.com/ It's listed from openphish.com https://imgur.com/bIKlffT Can someone look into why the site was reported for phishing, and look at getting it unlisted? I tried to attach pictures, but apparently, I can use PNG files. RIP.
Executive Council imasonaz Posted June 25, 2018 Executive Council Share Posted June 25, 2018 You already PMed this to leadership... But to pass the information along directly: We were made aware 6/22 and have contacted both malwaredomains.com and openphish.com and are awaiting a response. There isn't much else we can do until they remove us from their lists... (openphish is a "feed", which we are already off of).
Executive Council Kigen Posted June 26, 2018 Executive Council Share Posted June 26, 2018 We've been informed by malwaredomains.com that they will remove us from their list. This should fix the problem with uBlock/Adblock and other such similar applications. OpenPhish apparently detected https://hellsgamers....961-glaz-moatgg as phishing on June 19th for some reason. We've emailed OpenPhish but have not heard back from them yet.
Executive Council imasonaz Posted June 26, 2018 Executive Council Share Posted June 26, 2018 We received a reply from OpenPhish stating it was a false positive, and we have been removed from their lists. We should show up on their false-positive feed soon. It will take a couple of days for hellsgamers.com to be removed from the sites that borrow from malwaredomains and OpenPhish, so filters may still warn you. Executive Council Kigen Posted June 27, 2018 Executive Council Share Posted June 27, 2018 We are no longer listed in the Adblock Plus or uBlock Origin lists. You may need to force an update of the plugin's lists.
