Too fat to graduate

(CNN) -- Most college students expect to receive their diplomas on the basis of grades, but at a Pennsylvania school, physical fitness matters too.

Students at Lincoln University with a body mass index of 30 or above, reflective of obesity, must take a fitness course that meets three hours per week. Those who are assigned to the class but do not complete it cannot graduate.

Calculate your body mass index

Clicked on that above link above, got this result hahahaha

BMI doesn't really factor in age unless you're under 18, even then it's not that big a factor.

The biggest problem with BMI is that it has absolutely no consideration for muscle mass.

Like Terry, I don't know if anyone has seen his pics (you might need sunglasses, he is HAWT), but he is nowhere near overweight, but according to the BMI he is.

All in all though, Terry is FAT.

I'm 5'11", 200lbs, that puts me at 27.9 BMI. I've still got a slight beer belly on me but with a good muscular base, and I'm guessing if I lost 25 pounds, putting me at 175, I'd be dead on. What do you know, I plugged it in and with 5'11" @175lbs I'd be at 24.4 BMI, or NORMAL. Yeah, it's true it doesn't have much accounting for muscle, but don't get butt-hurt if it says you're fat...you're talking about this on an internet forum after all. Chances are you're not a prime specimen of human physical ability if you're here. Keep in mind that BMI is where you're supposed to be to be 'perfect', and it's just a number.
