Aquadango
Welcome to the new Oregon. So why was this remade? As it was my first map that I've made for the zombie survival gamemode a lot of things were different in terms of balance. In addition, the overall aesthetics and layout were just plain not good. So, it was just a way for me to take another crack at the map. Another thing was that the adding spots were limited to one singular area. So with the new remake, multiple areas are viable to add as well as new supply crate spawns. Screenshots. Version 3 Changes - Nerfed the Skycade - WiP Wave 6 Event - Removed some Supply Crate spawns Version 3a Changes - Wave 6 Event Fixed - Skycade has been somewhat reverted back - Extended some zombie gases - Added more cover for zombies - Added End Round Music Version 5 Changes - Removed Wave 6 event - Brighten the map a bit - Redid the main apartment - Gave zombies a 10% speed boost to make getting around the map quicker - Added an easter egg - Redid main zombie spawn to include more cover - Skycade has an added small room - Added a treehouse to the park area -Added/removed supplycrate spots - General Optimization Post any questions, suggestions, or bugs below! Guest
- Could you reveal or describe more of what the new layout is like? - What major aspects of the map did you change and why? - Will you keep the secret spot? - How much custom content have you used so far, regardless of who made it? - Why did you remake zs_oregon in particular? Apart from that, nice work on the map. I've remade zs_chernobyl and put it on the workshop and am also interested in remaking more maps which are classics, but just that bit outdated. A lot of people, or atleast I point to maps like zs_summit or zs_neighbourhood_v2 which are in dire need of a revamp. If any mappers wanna create something but don't know what, try remake someone else's work and see how you fair!
