piscian
Dumb question, Did you actually uninstall all that and reboot and reinstall? Or just reinstall? Also have you tested it on IE or Opera?
Prius
Still the same with IE.
piscian
Anything else going on with the PC? Because indications point toward those being the likely suspects. Last best if you have indeed uninstalled and reinstalled everything would be videocard drivers, though you should still have sounds?

RetiredTacos
Make sure hardware acceleration is on inside of flash player, it should also be version 10 as well. Make sure windows media player is not running while your testing these things. When did it stop working? **edit** Did you uninstall flash properly? It's not as simple as going to add/remove programs. To uninstall Flash, please follow Adobe's instructions, listed here: http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_14157 Once you're done, restart your computer and follow Adobe's instructions for reinstalling Flash: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash If the instructions above don't resolve the issue please try the following: 1. Temporarily disable popup blocking software installed on your computer to test. 2. Allow YouTube.com as a trusted site in your Firewall software. 3. Ensure other applications like Quicktime, iTunes, Real Player, or Windows Media Player aren't set as the default streaming application, as this might affect the video player.
