I think that you have to spend 2 months as a recruit which if that is correct, I've done that. This topic you created counts as a post, and the reply you made does as well. However, the General forum that this is posted in doesn't count towards your post count due to how it's setup. Find some threads in the division game forums or others that peak your interest. Make conversation and discussions. Making an introduction is a good, simple start.
