Lt. Awesome
make a new email, and change all the sites you go to to that one, and tell your friends that your other one is no longer in use. Then, use the hacked one for spam emails.
vandium
hi guys does anyone know how to hack emails ,etc .if u do plz help mee. someone hacked me and i need helpp! You will not be able to "hack" back your account. Just create a new one as he said above. If you had any private information in that account, it was already viewed and distributed. (if they were going to do that) So there is no point in worrying about that account. But you need to correct any accounts that are related to that email. Banking, credit cards, passwords for other website accounts, etc.
Wingless
This is where I soapbox about not using silly passwords and sillier password recovery questions. You might be able to contact the account provider and convince them to give it back to you. You're going to have to be pretty damned specific with the details you give to prove it's you, though. Most emailed addresses, last emails, date registered, IPs of accessing devices, things like that. It's worth a shot, but lets also use this as an opportunity to clean up your security on any other accounts you have?

Headshot
Ok, since you are the one that got his steam hacked, here is this: If you paid with a credit card, call steam and give them that info, you will get your account back. If you paid with cash, there might be some questions you can answer to get it back. Email: All I can say about that is, call whoever you have, and try to get it back. Make sure you know ur email, old password, ip, etc. They should ask questions about it, but idk. Answer them the best you can. I never lost an email before, this is just a guess. Mostlikely you will have to make a new one, and pray that nothing was used/found on your old one. There even migh tbe a way to turn off that email adress, ask when you call if they can't give it back to you.
