bLink-
Hi, well ive played on the hg dust2 dm server like everyday for about a week now, and some of the admins now me and others have just seen me and we have all been cool. Well, i was in there today just playing, not talking or anything, and this admin tells me to change my name or get banned. so to start my ingame name is bLink-Melon?!<--N****Z. well, i can see what he was wanting me to change so i changed it and asked on what reason was he going ot ban me and he said racism. I said there is nothing on the motd rules saying racism. and he said the second one which is to rescpect all. well, first, the word doesnt have to be taken to racist reasons, it can, but doesnt me it is. its not like i was just saying it to everyone to affend them, no, i wasnt talking at all, just playing, and it was in my name, so it isnt taken racist unless they read and understand it wrong. and no one has ever said anythign about it until the admin did. so, i was just wondering if i have it in my name and that admin is in there does he actually have the right to ban me over it? Thanks -bLink- Edited January 24, 2009 by ttaM Edited for the N word
BlackEyes
2. Slang: Extremely Disparaging and Offensive. a person of any race or origin regarded as contemptible, inferior, ignorant, etc. 3. a victim of prejudice similar to that suffered by blacks; a person who is economically, politically, or socially disenfranchised. Dude I hate when people say a word like that is racist when throughout history it was used against African Americans to hate on them. It is racist and always will be so the admin did the correct thing.
Church
Then why are black people allowed to call eachother "n*****s" and ALSO call us Crackers (which is hatefull slander as well) and we can't even say "n****" or any variation without being called racist. Just wanted to throw that out there, and yes I agree the admin was correct. I would have done the same. ttaM
I understand you guys needing to explain the situation, but the word is not needed. We all know what it is and it doesn't need to be placed on the website.
Clark
There is no debate. I'm tired of people trying to debate it. Leave it alone. Use common sense. Damnit, this gets old.
I Love Lamp
So, why is it such a big deal to remove it from your name? If you are making this big a deal of it, it's obvious you are just trying to start something. Die in a fire. I'll bring the gasoline.
