I've had so many people tell me this is a map exploit and the only exploit I can think of is doing it on the button platform because it throws CT's in the water. Can we please clear this up? ricky2442 Posted December 21, 2009 Share Posted December 21, 2009 I think you should only be able to do it in tiers that give you enough room. Which is basically tiers 1,2,3,6,7,9. The others pretty much push you off unless you jump repeatedly (for CT), and the whole point of Western Shootout is to take 10 steps, not to begin shooting/knifing on the spot. Weeman Posted December 21, 2009 Share Posted December 21, 2009 (edited) Ricky2442 is correct, the tiers with enough room to spawn are legal places, the reason why the ones with red X's arent allowed because it doesnt always spawn the ct on top of the platform and they immediately drop off. You don't have to take 10 paces to start shooting, thats just the optional way to do it. When you do it in small areas like the platforms and solitary room it adds a new element to the LR where you have to position yourself to shoot the other person without falling off. Regardless of spelling, what Weeman said is absolutely correct. Doing it on the skinny bars is a death trap and can be considered cheating since several people know how to stand on it to make their opponent fall in the water. If you're there with the wrong CTs they'll probably kill you for what they think is cheating.
