CubanCarlos Posted December 30, 2009 Share Posted December 30, 2009 So, i was playing Jailbreak today, and came up with a crazy idea. having a JB scrim, similar to a 10 man, but due to how Jailbreak works, and we cant equal out teams, say a 15 man, 10 on Ts, 5 on CTs (or something in that general area) I think it would be a pretty fun idea to test out, and restrict it only for HG members at this time, so we dont have to put in so many rules for douchebaggery. It would be a regular JB round, but with CTs who know what they are doing, and the objective like regular JB, would be to see who can survive. post and tell me what you guys think, I know it sounds crazy, but its worth a shot. Im not too sure about this next part but what if: T - You had to tunnel out of your cell (see break blocks minigame) T - You have to trip an alarm to be caught CT - Patrol the map Overall - Would be a jail coridor (see Jail in Killing Floor) with many tunnels and sewage tunnels which they would have to break in to (Green Mile ) CT- Have a limited voice reach (might be impossible I don't know) +1 overall. We have a server, prepped, ready to go, but we need coders/mappers. I will ask HG if i am allowed to use their JB server map, and if possible, modify it in some ways. We cant have the same exact motd we have in the regular JB server becuase those rules are more aimed for total destruction of the Ts not actual Jailbreak. Darkplanner, if you are up to it, talk with me in vent when you get the chance please. Ricky, I hope so, this was just an idea that came up in a matter of 5 or 10 minutes. We are going to have to modify alot of things for it to work perfectly, thats why i need ya'lls help. Anyone who would like to also help me with the modifying of rules and other things, give me a PM also. We are working together to create the very first JailBreak Scrim in the History of HG! We are going to play Jailbreak (Fail right there, but I'm going to go futher) Then we are going to do it in a scrim way? (??!??!?!?!?! I'm confused..... how are you going to do that? scrim last 1:45 and there is always an objective to do. NO WAY is jailbreak gonna only last 1:45) - Unless we extend the time, but then we cant call it a 10 man/scrim. *this really makes no sense, but go along with it....its early* And IF this happens, I would need to be a T so I could win ever round. - but at the cost of my css skill/friends/life/brain/smartness/everything. - because I went inside Jailbreak. LOL? and BTW, im a Jailbreaker, and i always get invited to 10 mans. :S And Headshot, thank you very much for your optimism, but let me explain. I said Scrim/10 man, because it was the closest thing I could relate to, but obviousley, we would need to extend the time alot for it to be successful. One thing i have noticed from all the Ts success, is from the Fail CTs. if we were to get good CTs, ones who actually knew what they were doing, and take out some of the rules that restrict them, it can be anyone's game. Like i said, it is a work in progress, and no where near complete, I thought of it yesterday. This was also meant for people who enjoy Jailbreak, and would like to see what its like without fail CTs and freekillers and such, no one is making you play it if it does work... :S Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
