Rudabaga
After about 40 minutes and sometimes right when I join a server my game seems to crash. My CSS freezes and then it crashes. It started today when I tried to join a Skyworld Server. Then it kept happening every time I would try and rejoin. Then it happened a few times in gun game. Also, it says this every time I close out of counter strike and this has happened before but it went away over time. I just want to get it fixed. It says, "hl2.exe has stopped working." Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section of the forums.

Headshot
i get the same msg when i exit steam games. (Also have vista) - guess steam doesnt like vista?
BlackEyes
Get rid of Vista and your fps will go up a lot like Naabis's did when he went from Vista to XP
Wingless
That wouldn't really surprise me; no software actually LIKES Vista. You could always try kicking steam into XP compatibility mode or something. It's not really SOP, but I've had apps that run a lot better that way. Koth
start with this: close steam, deleted "client registry.blob" and start steam again it will update for a couple of mins

Cr(+)sshair
Take your penis out of the dvd-rom drive. Seriously though, make sure everything is updated...your Windows, graphics card, and make sure your overclock settings aren't giving you lock-ups. Could just be your penis...
