I have 2 DVI-I ports on my GPU. 1 is linked to my PC screen And for the second one im wondering iff i buy a DVI-i to HDMI Cable to plug into my HDTV Is it gonna work ? to watch movies from pc to TV ? because i have already linked a S video cable to a regular TV and it work great ! soo any idea ? Daedalus Posted January 12, 2010 Share Posted January 12, 2010 Yes it'll work. I have a setup opposite of yours where my PS3 & PC are hooked up to a DVI monitor. I run a HDMI cable to a selector box and then run a HDMI to DVI cable from the box to my monitor. The only catch is that you won't have sound from the HDMI cable.
