Windows 7 Ultimate vs. Windows XP SP 3

I think not sir, you only have to modify Win 7 slightly and it can run faster then XP.

Maybe a better way to phrase that is to say that XP is less of a memory hog (by old school standards)

If you're playing contemporary games, DX11 is nice. I'm running 7 on the Windows partition on all of my workstations and probably won't ever go back.

Wrong and wrong, I've tested this myself with the source engine, XP video drivers are much more mature than win7/vista. A Google search will also show I'm not retarded. It was REALLY bad until Vista SP1 came out, now the difference between the 2 is less than probably 5% performance difference. Memory was never an issue for me, I usually have plenty so that argument is null.

Please explain what you modify in windows 7 to increase performance though, I'd love to hear it.
