Rudabaga
My internet keeps messing up. It will be fine when I'm not in-game but when I'm playing Counter-Strike: Source my game will lag really badly and then crash. I don't know what to do but I have the brand of internet "NETGEAR" and its wireless. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. LAPD
Configure it manually. If your using DSL, then you are most likely using PPPoE to logon to your DSL. right ? In basic setup menu, use "other" then use your dsl user name, password and set the DHCP IP to auto, then your set.
Slazenger
Ethernet. It's a miracle. Plug an ethernet cord in direct to the back of the router. I had a Netgear wireless router and had much better performance hardwired to it. Even if it's just for a few minutes, see if that improves your performance. SneakyTo3
I got a few things that may work: 1. Reset all your net hardware 2. If number 1 don't work try goin directly from your modem too your computer. 3. Still don't work? Try contacting your Ethernet deveplover. If 2 works, try borrow an friends modem and router or use an old one, also check your cable that that goes from your telephone output too your router input. Hope this works! -LydaRi
