Hey guys, I need help real bad. My cousin reset the internet connection by changing the password and reset the channel. All other 7 computers in the house are able to log back on to the internet, except for my gaming desktop. I'm using a wireless G-adaptor. I've tried every possible ways I could by reseting my adaptor and some other methods, but for some reason, it won't detect the network at all. I tried to refresh the network, but nothing shows up. Can any of you guys help me out here? That would be grateful =]

Try the following

  1.
  2. go to the Network and Sharing Center in your Control Panel
  3. click on "change adapter settings"

  4. click on the network adapter you use for the internet

  5. click "properties"

  6. select "TCP/IP v4" and click "properties"

  7. ensure your settings are set to "automatically obtain"

  8. click OK on all boxes

Random, but any chance the router is set to not broadcast SSID anymore so that's why it's not picking it up automatically?

Thats very likely.

Bulletz make sure you are using the right encryption TYPE for wireless (usually WEP or WPA Personal) and hit the checkbox that says connect even if not broadcasting. Also if you post a screenshot of your ipconfig /all

Go to run

Type in CMD and enter

at block box type in IPCONFIG /ALL
