Baiting.

I'm not sure if you've played the jailbreak server recently or not, but if you have you'll notice any T feels like if a CT is in there general 10 foot radius that they have permission under the MOTD to go to that ct, kill him, and continue orders without being killed.

Now the reason I feel this got out of hand is that when the baiting rules were implemented some tricky guy who likes to bs alot (like volumE lol) started saying "don't kill me he baited me, read the motd" and this caught on and now everyone i doing.

See I don't mind that. What I do mind is that I don't think even a quarter of the admins on that server understand the rule. And not only do they not support the real rules, but they encourage the made up ones.

Now, this is how I have interpreted the two rules in the motd regarding baiting.

The first says "CTs may not bait (do things that force the T's to rebel or get them killed). Likewise, T's may not act in a manner so as to make it look like a CT is baiting."

In this light it would seem that CT's that do bait and T's the act like they got baited even when they didn't should be warn/kicked/banned by admins. NOWHERE does it say T's can stop doing orders to kill a T and If they do they aren't rebels.

second one: If a CT is running in the path of a T in transit, the T may not knife them or else they will be considered a rebel unless the T was knifing before the CT was near. In that case, the CT is at fault for running through their knife purposely.

This one is so simple. I can't tell you how many admins have slayed CT's because the ct's killed a rebel that one knife another CT in the back and the admin said "the ct was baiting him it was a freekill"

If you aren't knifing before you get to the CT and you stab him you're going to die. no questions.

I'd like Slaz/ Council/ Staff to tell me if my perceptions of these rules are correct. And if they are I'd like this thread to set the example for jailbreak admins and player to learn the rules.

Even though you are being a little exaggerative there, I get your point. A lot of a the when I play jailbreak (which is a lot of the time lol) ct's fail to keep the game going more then a minute, and I have a multitude of demo's to prove that. The cause of this 75% of the time is CT's who decide to go in to a cell, especially lower vip, and then are killed by the T's in that area. Now they have a gun or two, and generally the lead is then killed right after and mass chaos ensues. In my opinion whether I am playing CT or T it is boring and kind of ruins the game when this occurs many many times over again (a whole separate issue with this being CT's not knowing when it is a freeday and not acknowledging mic lag).

When volume says don't kill me, kill him, end of story lol.

Isn't that how all problems stem, smart and experienced people exploiting loop holes lol and then everyone catches on.

Lol that problem stems from allowing twelve year olds to buy admin with mommies credit card and then trying to depend on them to take care of issues in a community with some 40 odd people, a responsibility a little too tough for them in my opinion. Now I'm not trying to bash kids, because there are definitely some older admins who do the exact same thing, and I know they do not have any kind of obligation to act on anything but shouldn't they at least have to know the rules to be admin?

That definition is very vague in my opinion slaz... I believe that "do things that force the T's to rebel or get them killed" is way to ambiguous and this should be a rule that should have specific yet generalized instances listed under it as to clarify it, for example, no going in to cells while T are still in the proximity.

I'd personally like to say the exact same thing you did in this last line. I would say that at leaste 95% of the time when a CT is killed in T transit the T was not knifing before stabbing him. Personally when I stab a CT I had not been knifing before that. So yah, you hit it right on the head.
