Clark
I got this in an email today and had to share..... Why John Voted Democrat I voted Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I've decided to marry my dog. I voted Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't. I voted Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would. I voted Democrat because Freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it. I voted Democrat because When we pull out of Iraq I believe that the bad guys will stop what they are doing because they now think we are good people. I voted Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday can tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius. I voted Democrat because I'm not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive. I voted Democrat because I think illegal aliens have a right to free health care, education, and Social Security benefits. I voted Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as the government sees fit. I voted Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite The Constitution every few months to suit some fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters. I voted Democrat because I believe that the Government should restrict salaries and bonuses because corporate executives can't manage their finances as well as Congress which is running this country into a fiscal abyss . I voted Democrat because Congress refuses to take the same health care program for themselves that they are attempting to force upon the American people. I voted Democrat because My head is so firmly planted up my posterior that it is unlikely that I'll ever have another point of view because it's all Bush's fault. TexasTormenture
I'd just like to take this opportunity to point out that politics is all a theatrical sideshow to keep you from seeing the truth of what is really happening. Guest The_Monkey
I voted democrat because the republicans abandoned fiscal conservatism when congress was republican controlled. As soon as republicans get back on the fiscal conservative band wagon...I'm down.

Clark
My father used to say that you can break it down very simply. If you want bigger government, no school choice, and higher taxes.... Vote democrat. Guest The_Monkey
My father used to say that you can break it down very simply. If you want bigger government, no school choice, and higher taxes.... Vote democrat. Oh, and this------->http://www.constitution.org/billofr_.htm The same could be said, and is, about Republicans right now. The fact the Dems keep in fighting is down right funny to me. And "F" the Tea party. Won't be too long before they start passing out "special punch". And "F" the independents. Time to cut programs, raise taxes (till we can drop our deficit way the f down), and sell California to the highest bidder. Put states in charge of all social programs (including social security and medicare), so that the whole country doesn't finance social programs they don't benefit from. Prius
I agree with the whole selling California thing. We should just give that bitch away. Why not just put California into 2 states? I had a better reasoning for this, but I forgot it. It has to do with something about water.
I Love Lamp
I voted Republican because John Kerry changes his stance on issues every 20 minutes. fixt I didn't vote for Kerry, he was a moron To be fair, I didn't vote for Bush either. But as for McCain, I mean, he changes his stance on every issue every time the GOP tells him to. It's sad that he doesn't value his own opinion enough to defend it. Like, now, with the whole "Don't ask, don't tell" policy. He pretends to be moderate right up until the time the chips have to come down, then he retreats behind party lines. It's a very sad display. Also, no one should ever declare themselves a Democrat or a Republican. Don't vote for anyone or anything just because it's something "your party" is attack/defending. Use your own goddamn mind.
