Sock
I want clarification on ct going into vents. When a T rebels and runs in s4s sometimes a ct will go into armory and then into the vent to catch him. I say this is a against the rules because there is no way the ct knows the T in s4s went into the vent. How do the rules apply to this situation? CubanCarlos
Well, in a way, the ONLY place the T would WANT to go is to armory, hiding is the last thing on their mind. Even if they do decide to hide, the reason behind the CT going through vents (atleast this is my reasoning) is to cut them off, so they have no where to go, (cant go back from S4S entrance, will be immediately shot by someone else, and cant come through vents, as there is a CT coming for them) I don't think there would be a rule implemented for this, and give the CTs benefit of the doubt for going into vents as they most likely were not trying to do anything wrong. On the other hand, if (like motd states) there is no one even near S4S, and the CT goes over there, feel free to warn and then slay if it persists... Weeman
that ct should be slayed, however the ct should have gone into shot for shot to find him, if an open vent entrance is found and NO T is found where they ran into then you are allowed to assume the rebeller went into vents. Slazenger
Yes, if any of the vents are open and it is made aware to the CTs that a T is in vents heading to Armory they can go into vents or into the armory to kill them. Pure and simple. =D
PizzaGuy
It was to my understanding that a CT could go into the vents with probable cause. I admit I on several occasions have done what sock is talking about as CT and done it to sock himself plenty of times thinking it was legal. (I guess it isn't, but consider what I'm saying below) When I'm a CT and I see a Rebel run into s4s and take a left turn, he's clearly going for the vents. Now lets say I'm on top of cells when i see this, by the time i run into s4s to get that guy he'll already be in armory, and have awp'd lead ct by then. Round over. But since i know what he's doing and where he's going it makes sense for me to run to the armory go downthe vent and if i see a T running towards me/armory kill him. if I don't see the T, or hear any water noises then by all means I should get out of the vents and go back and look in s4s. Alternatively, theres times when 5+ T's will run s4s and head towards the vents... it's not like they're going in there to sit on the chairs... if there isn't a ct extremely close by to follow them into the vents then the round is basically over with that many T's in the armory.
