Trivia

I have been thinking and doing alot of researching and writing on the topic of Superstitions lately for the purpose that Superstitions (to me) are something fun to explore, even though I may not believe in them myself. The reason I have been researching them is because I thought that it would be fun if, instead of math, history, literature, and other trivias such as those, we do something that would actually be fun that people can guess at without others looking at them thinking "wow, such a fag, they dont know these simple things" or w/e they could be thinking. As I have read faithless say in the banned games post, it should be fun for both teams, and IMO solving 3*6+12-8*25(6*4) is NOT fun. That's what going to school is for and I play video games as my escape from all of that lol

But I have come to one issue...if we did play a Trivia on Superstitions, would it be officially opinionated, or not?

IMO I believe that it would definately be opinionated, since alot of people either do or do not believe in superstions. I would always play it as an opinionated game, but I ask this because maybe other people start doing it as well, and they want EVERYONE to play as if it were not an opinionated game. Personally, I don't want to start playing something if other people are going to start playing it too when they get lead, and not have it be opinionated; therefore people who don't know ANYTHING about superstitions nor really care for them would be dying as well, and not having fun in any way.

So, would a Superstitions Trivia be officially opinionated or not???

Of course.

Right off of wikipedia:

Superstition is a credulous belief or notion, not based on reason, knowledge, or experience. The word is often used pejoratively to refer to folk beliefs deemed irrational. This leads to some superstitions being called "old wives' tales". It is also commonly applied to beliefs and practices surrounding luck, prophecy and spiritual beings, particularly the irrational belief that future events can be influenced or foretold by specific unrelated prior events.

Oooooh. Ok. LOL sorry

and for doobie...i ment like looking up good trivia questions for it.

for cuban...i wrote down some q and a and basically it works like every other trivia game...

lead Ct would ask a question about a superstition and then the t's would take a guess at the answer

I.E.

Q: What does it mean when your ear burns?

A: someone is talking about you

Q: It is said that you have recently told a lie if you do what while eatinG?

A: bite your tongue

these are common superstitions that are easily findable (at least they were for me) if you go to google...which is where I found them. If you would like I could post links to the sites I found the superstitions at.

haha, it wasn't your fault, my bad for not explaining it correctly.. :)

I personally think those are good, a real difference than our usual history or math, and i think some people will actually learn from it!

Try it out whenever you get lead CT, and tell me how it goes, its all up to you

Good luck! :)

hey for trivia this is how i think of it.

simple math ( or any math ) is lame because its is always 2+2 and spamming 4 has no skill

science, history, vagina, Pokemon etc. is fun because you need to think and actually know something to get it right.

and to answer your question trivia should be forcible as long as there is a defined answer

Yes Blade I can understand that. I've searched google and there are maybe 2-3 max different answers for some of the superstitions which is one more reason why I said i would consider it opinionated, but again, it's not like they only get one guess at each question. Plus you can access the web while in game and if you type the question into google it'll give you results.

If you keep guessing at the question or looking it up and spurting all the results you find then you'll eventually get it right, as if it were normal trivia

like states and capitals for example...You may not know them all but if you keep guessing then you'll eventually get it :)
