fdh Posted March 27, 2010 Share Posted March 27, 2010 Background: I live in a townhouse complex in Raleigh. There is a ghettoish apartment complex on the other side of the woods. So this past Wednesday night a little after midnight I'm sitting on my couch studying for an exam w/ my roommate and one of my friends. We get a knock on the door....I go open it...it's a cop...I look outside and there are 6 cop cars in our parking lot. Apparently about 30 mins prior to that our next door neighbor was standing with two of our other neighbors in front of one of the townhomes. They always stand out there and drink and etc. Well some guys with shotguns WALKED up to them and robbed them, forced them inside their townhouse, and left with whatever they could carry. All the while I'm sitting just 3 doors down studying. Who the crap WALKS up to somebody with shotguns and robs them and then WALKS out without anyone seeing them?! Community watch fail lol? Also, who let's people walk up to them with shotguns in hand... Anyways...I'm afraid our collection of kitchen knives and baseball bats/hockey sticks stand no match against said robbers.
