Whatever server you play in css racism will always be there to make you sad

But even racism has its limit's

You can see that at 5:00 am

There's chaos in jailbreak

I'm trying to lead this morning when 3 guys (i will not tell names)

start to spamming over lead saying something that made me leave and also thinking even leaving HG Clan

"There's no place for dusbags in here only american players can play..understood fu***** greek ni****

That sentence destroyed my day

making me think that i must leave hg servers......

Also HG servers used to be more fun 2007-08-09

Take a close look and you will see the difference

If people are being racist towards you, like I said get whatever proof you can. It's unacceptable for people to be disrespectful towards other players regardless of what is going on. I'm sorry that you are going through this while playing on our servers and if people are singling you out, we need to know who so they can be talked to.

If you are not able to take a screenshot at that moment or dont know hot to, you can go to the console and take a photo or a screenshot of it and it has who wrote that kind of stuff even if some time has passed.

Fiddy Cent, come onto Ventrillo and go into the 'Help' channel. There's usually always a staff or admin in there at some time or another that could swiftly get into the server and get rid of racist people.

 

Other than that, what can I say? Ignorance is spread through ignorance, and can sometimes be removed through education. It's just the way people are and you've got to explain to them through well thought out conversation exactly what is wrong with their views and with the words that they use and how they say it.

Like you said, racism is found anywhere in CSS, so then why are you contemplating quitting HG? Its not like it's going to get better anywhere else....?

It's a 2-way street. On one hand, you can't stop people from being douchebags, especially on the internet. On the other, we don't have to put up with those people, and we don't. Like everyone said, grab a demo or screenshot, or if it's an ongoing problem, send me a Steam message if I'm around/in vent and I'll ban them so hard their children will get cancer.

so wait... random server trolls were racist to you and the solution you though of was to leave HG? wuh? that shits everywhere you go. and yes our servers are changing because they are becoming more and more increasingly popular, meaning more and more assholes too. That and most of the nice people who played CSS moved onto better games, hell if you think css is bad, take a look at 1.6 that game is riddles with crusty assholes now ;-)

Most of our admins in JB are U.S residents, I highly doubt anyone of them would be on at 5:00 am, even with the time difference.

 

Admins are not the only ones that can create a ban report. All HG members are encouraged to get proof and make a ban report if a problem happens, ESPECIALLY when there are no admins.

 

How do you know there are no admins? Simple. Type something into admin chat, and if no one responds, they are most likely AFK. I understand the admin maybe could not see it, but when someone is spamming over lead, saying racist terms, a big alarm should go off in their heads telling them something is wrong.

I don't like people who are racist like that. I admit I'm racist irl sometimes but it's because of the community I was brought up in and pretty much the whole of england are racist fucks so meh. But yeah people like that just want you to get annoyed and that's why they do it, now everyone who reads the forums knows you are extremely vulnerable to racial comments.

 

Conclusion: Leave the internet and not just HG if you are that vulnerable imo

I would like to point out one thing, and I am sure all staff can agree with me -- if you are afraid to tell names publicly on the forum in regards to offences taken on a server and still want the person(s) in question to be held accountable for their actions, feel free to send any staff member the information and we will keep it anonymous who gave us the information. I know some people will like to feel assured that they can do this if they feel it is more comfortable in those rare cases.

 

This goes for all members and players.
