Hamhugger
Is it worth picking up a second 250? Is the increase in performance noticable?
stanger
yes it will bring up the performance
Siphaed
It will increase performance, but also power usage and heat in your system. Make sure your case is well vented and has a few case fans besides the one near the PSU. And, ya have to make sure your PSU has the proper connectors (cables) that supports SLI. Eh, you probably know all this. Sure, go for for it. P.S. Just curious, are you using Win7 and what's your RAM?

Weeman
oh the lulz, most of the drivers for SLI have been coded by monkeys, (well a few months ago, not sure about it anymore) and most games don't even respond to it very well. Hell when borderlands came out, if you even had sli ready enabled your game looked like TRON. 250 should be handling your games on its own anyways. Hamhugger
I'm running win 7 with 6gb of ddr3. Psu is fine. Case is a beast. I got the haf 932 or whatever. Running an i7 too
Wingless
Just check the benchmarks. It's probably a decent performance boost; you just have to compare the improvement to the cost. Heat is a big issue, though. I need to pick up a few more fans since I currently have the side of the case pulled off and an industrial fan running over the top of it. Too much heat from the cards plus poor air circulation in my room = locks.
