I would suggest getting Sony Vegas Pro 9... It's caused me no trouble. And I suggest maybe trying to use the film without using virtual dub? I don't know how that exactly works. Oh, and a tip, make sure you have the video set to 3Mbps, and Windows Media Video V11 (its .wmv) It compresses the video from like a gig to a couple megabytes.
