Whats happenin' forum! (cheesy)

 

My friends computer sucks balls, and I told him i'd ask you guys to find a very good but rather cheep gaming laptop. Under 1000 dollars would be nice with a big hard drive. He just wants it for games. Let me know if you guys find anything good, I'm looking too.

sigh laptop? go desktop, but as for laptop hell alienware has the new m11x for under 1000 i think its like 800(can also purchase the core duo upgrade and i think still fall at yer price mark), or upgrade to the m15x and its just over 1000 like 1200

 

just checked on the m11x with the core due,4gb of ram, disc drive and 500gb HD logged out at $1133, also comes with steam client pre installed woot woot

I have an M11x as my second laptop...it is not a full time gamer, but rather a good utility gamer (airplanes, cars, small spaces). I have a 17" dell as my main mobile gamer, mainly because the display is beautiful.

 

Here is an HP dv7 that isn't terrible, but still not some mad monster mammer jammer. You want one of those, you are going over 1k.

i was going to ask that same question about a decent gameing laptop for about that price range lol so thank you for asking and thank you guys for replying =) my desktop is a refurbished compaq built in vid card to the mother board sucks big time, so thanks guys

i used to game on a laptop before i got this desktop, was using a dell xps. however it used to pretty much always overheat after some hardcore sessions, and for double the price of a desktop it hardly seems worth it.

Imo he should stick to a desktop unless he plans on moving around a lot.
