Cosmo
Yea Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan died back in Dec of 09. They got Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater to fill in and do the tour with them this year. I wasn't really into them that much but I've been listening a bit more nowadays.

Nighte
pretty good, sadly "waking the fallen" and "city of evil" is in the past, i dont ever think sander's will ever be able to sing like he used to, last time i went and saw them he tried to scream too much and had to walk off stage for about 5-10 minutes, but it was an awsome gates solo for that time he was gone, most memorable A7x moment getting my lip ring tore out in the pit in 2005, and yes it was worth it
Wingless
City of Evil and after makes me want to punch babies. For this genre (well, they kind of overlap), I like to call this phenomenon "Atreyu Syndrome". Since I've been able to define this trend, I start liking bands before it's popular to do so, and I stop liking them before it's very apparent that one should. I suppose I'll listen to this one after I'm done with conference call hell. Also, a7x has sounded like a front runner for a nasal strip commercial over the last 5 years, and that makes me sad.
