Just get Youtube Downloader to download the videos, and Format Factory to convert the video files to MP3's, and you won't get any viruses.

I also agree with Global Warming, I have WOT and its really effective. It's on Firefox and Chrome. I highly recommend getting it.

Youtube Downloader:

YouTube Downloader - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com

Format Factory:

FormatFactory Free Download

(PS, WOT has a yellow rating for Brothersoft.com, but I haven't been infected at all, so no worries.)

If you use Firefox, Use NoScript.

It's very helpful when scripts try to hijack browsers.

Stupid XSS.

Doesn't look like anyone in this thread does :(

I know exactly what reformating is....however, explain this:

How does one reformat a HDD with WinXP(32) that doesn't have any peripheral attached (no CD/DVD-ROM or floppy drive) to load up the original OS disc AND cannot manually give the command in CMD using either normal or Safe-Mode?

THAT, itself is a question I cannot answer.

External drives and doing the install on another computer aside, you should be able to net boot to a remote file share and run an image with unattended installer.

Ghost is also nice here.

Also, how does one even get into this situation?
