The Banning admin: Console, apparently... 4. Your Steam-Id: STEAM_0:1:7791981 5. Reason for ban: Apparently, console permanently banned me for having a "forbidden name". I don't know why "Sea Tea | Phæthon" was a forbidden name, but I was banned for it, and I would like this confusion to be resolved. Thanks for reading. Moto Posted May 31, 2010 Share Posted May 31, 2010 okay. here is the dealio. i think "EA |" was detected as a partial string from "Sea Tea |" and "EA |" is considered a bad tag in our system and results in an auto-ban. So unbanned from our gaming servers. In regards to vent, I will have to see if Bort can change the IP subnet ban around somehow to where you can get in vent. Will see what I can do. Just change the tag in-game so it doesn't return a mistaken auto-ban. Sorry about the delay in getting this resolved. I was at work most of the day while this idea came across my mind.
