Darkplanner
Does anyone know how to remove the little two people icon that appears on the drives when you share them. I don't like them and am on a network with 2 networks. Tell me if you know how to. I remember I changed a registry entry when I had vista, I know have Win7 and want to know how to get rid of them. Lots of research and still no solution.
General Red
if your OCD'ing about a little icon u prolly barely look at....then sorry man.. Google.com is probably going to be your only solution. I heavily suggest not sharing your HDD's out...at all.
Darkplanner
I would rather have it removed and I share my HDD between computers in my house. Its not like anyones getting though my firewall.

If you're running 7 on your computers, set up a homegroup. It's probably more secure than what you're doing and might not have that icon associated with it. Then again, I haven't tried it, so it's just conjecture.
