Prospekt Posted June 23, 2010 Share Posted June 23, 2010 Hey guys, I'm not gonna be on the servers for a bit. My hard drive apparently took a shit on me. I'm getting the "Memory test failure" when I try to boot up. Can't get into windows and in the bios, my HD isn't even there so I'm trying to figure out what the deal is. I'll still be hitting up the forums though, via tapatalk on my phone. So if anyone has any advice that could be helpful, I'd appreciate it. Hopefully I'll be back in the games very soon. Might try tossing it in the freezer for a few hours (KEEP IT DRY) and give it another go. You might be able to keep it up long enough to pull data from it. Repeat until finished. I'm gonna get a new one in about a week so I'll be back soon. My buddy seems to think he has a way to pull my data off the old drive so hopefully that works. Buy at least I'll be back on the servers soon. I'll see u guys then. Ok, thanks wingless. You really have been a big help. I'm gonna try the freezer thing tomorrow after I get out of court for my DUI. That is, as long as I don't get locked up. But my lawyer said I'm good and no worries so I'm just goin with her...,Hopefully. Anyways I'll see u guys in about a week with a new badass HD. Can't wait to be back on the servers!!
