Awwik Posted June 25, 2010 Share Posted June 25, 2010 So I play on a laptop the screen just f***ed up. My moniter just broke, so i dont think i will be playing much. Ill still be on the fourms thanks to my iphone, but i will not be on vent. I will also not be able to watch demos and look at some screenshots . Wingless Posted June 26, 2010 Share Posted June 26, 2010 I've seen attached devices not register unless you hit the fn command to do so. Like fn+8 or something like that. It should be marked on your keyboard. Might want to wait until you'd normally be at the login screen so Windows is up and ready to accept commands. Worth a shot. Also, you probably want to check the ribbon connection between the screen and the board. Requires a little disassembly, but if you're out of warranty, it's probably worth it. If it's really cracked/otherwise crapped out, you might be able to find a replacement for cheapish if you're fine with your current hardware. Then i get to windows and i can hear the start up but nothing ever comes up.
