Remix
I have to put my ps3 in a cabinet, and I don't want it to overheat. Whats a good non-expensive way to cool it? Also don't tell me to move it cause where it is now the place where I can play online. I just got it today.
n1ckkkkk
Cut a hole in the back of the cabinet and put a 120mm fan or
Awwik
Step one Get cooler. Step two Get ice. Step 3 doesnt matter because ps3 has no games!
ePHEX
I have this one, it's a nyko ps3 cooling system. PS3 cooling system - BestBuy It work's great. Edited June 27, 2010 by ePHEX
Awwik
Yeah I have one for my 360 its great!
Enjuaguese
I agree with ePHEX, but if you have a PS3 Slim, you don't need anything. It has better airflow, and is overall runs cooler. Also, if your tight on money, use PwNeD's idea. How big is the area in the cabinet your using? You could just leave the cabinet doors open. Wingless
PS3 doesn't have a huge problem with failure. If you were planning on getting something for insurance purposes, Intercool has done me pretty well on my second-gen 360. Cheap policy as far as I'm concerned. General Red
well tip 1) always have it standing up. 2) if its a gaming cabinet with fans, i wouldnt be worried. 3) put a fan or 2 on it.
