Hands-free voice chat in Steam (?)

I have been out of the CS:S scene for a good while, and I can not recall if there is a hands-free voice chat option within STEAM or CS:S. I know that 'K' is the push-to-talk key, but I see people voice chatting in game and still moving around.

Is there such an option (things may have changed since) or do you think thay just binded a more convenient key instead?

This is nubly of me to ask, but may help a few others perhaps.

EDIT: For Steam, I have the "automatically transmit my voice whenever I speak" chosen and no one can hear me then.

^^

:fail: :D

I use mouse button 4, it is right under my thumb so I can just press it and keep on playing...

Ya get a mouse with extra keys on it....

I suggest the Microsoft wireless laser mouse 5000... pretty cheap and has 2 buttons and looks simple and sleek.

That is my vent key but i also use mouse 4 for ingame talk

Right right. I'm still using "v" out of habit for in-game from when I played a lot of 1.5 and TFC. That and I've switched from my trackball for CS to an old MS optical out of frustration, and it's only a 3 button/scroll model. I need a mouse that isn't made of suck.

In that image you see those two arrow buttons...top is mouse5 and bottom is mouse 4

edit: the button right above the scroll wheel is to change the sensitivity higher, and right below the scroll wheel changes it lower.
