Shinigami Posted March 11, 2009 Share Posted March 11, 2009 Hey Ive been playing on the ICEWORLD 24/7 server and i can't figure out how to demo a hacker lol, i know how to PLAY demo's but i can't demo another person. This is upsetting me because there wasn't a admin in the game so i thought id just demo the guy and try it out. but i couldn't anyway i would appreciate it if you would let me know how to. ttaM Posted March 11, 2009 Share Posted March 11, 2009 No you don't need them. Type stop in console when you're done. And you do start recording in console. The file saves as a .dem to your Cstrike folder. To upload it go to zhost.hellsgamers.com and do it all there. There's a better explanation on the Ban reports forum sticky. bort Posted March 11, 2009 Share Posted March 11, 2009 no u dont need quotes. but just dont make your demoname have a space in it. dont forget to type "stop" when your done or it will keep on recording also, type "status" at some point during the demo. it will allow people who watch the demo to see a list of everyone's steamIDs who are playing. Otherwise even if you do have proof of some wrongdoing, we wont know who it was and nothing can be done about it. to play the demo back u type "playdemo [demoname here]" EDIT: wow u beat me by a minute swat Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
