Maraman
I just want to make it aware that I haven't been inactive (and my HG friends know that) but I am unable to access the HG vent. I can get into other vent servers just not the HG one. Vent is telling me that the server is always unavailable.
JessicaJoy
Make sure everything is correct when you type it in. Hostname/IP: vent.hellsgamers.com Port: 4198
fox*
Are you sure you have the Vent password correct? OR the connect info is right?
enigma#
If the above still does not work, it may be a DNS resolution error, try using the direct IP address to do it IP/Hostname: 216.6.226.101 Port: 4198 If the problem does persist, I'd suggest reinstalling Ventrilo completely... I Love Lamp
If none of that works, run a tracert to the IP. There might be some routing issues.
Zaine
Or just get off your Walmart connection. IT'S GENERAL SECTION K.

enigma#
Okay, if the problem is persisting (as Homer prescibes): please do the following: in cmd.exe (via run)... please type in: tracert vent.hellsgamers.com Afterwards post the output of cmd.exe into this thread Perhaps your firewall/NAT device is blocking it? If you've already tried that, ignore the former. However, I'd strongly suggest you try doing what Homer said so we can quickly resolve this for you.
