Everytime I try to ban someone for Freekilling or Spamming or something, it tells me that I do not have permission to Perm Ban. And when I try to to ban them, I write it in chat. Ex. !ban Failboy time 120 "Freekilling". I do that and each time it tells me I don't have permission to Perm Ban. Can someone help?

@Permaban command : it is restricted to Staff/Council and Trusted Admins only... you can't get it unless you're one of the three.

@Pwned's comment: It is true that you need quotes for the name... however if you do a partial name ban... you do not need quotes for the name... as the space implies the next input (also the reason why you need quotes for very long names)

For instance, if I wanted to ban excalibur without typing his full name out, I can just do

(In console): sm_ban excali 0 "being a troll"

(in chat) !ban excali 0 "being a troll"

as you can see, if you need to have more precision in your ban reasons, make sure to specify quotes for it otherwise it will output your ban reason as

"being" lol and that fails... I see that alot happen in JB under SourceBans... so yeah... careful with that.

Note: Partial Name bans work most of the time however, you have to make sure that it is a unique part of his name so for instance if in the server there was a guy named "I got Pwned" and "HG | Pwned" was also there. I wouldn't be able to use a partial name ban because there's more than one guy that has the term "Pwned" in their nickname.

and fyi excalibur, you're just the butt of my joke... no offense to you! =] :D
