enigma#
http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=330386 My Mistake, it says it's most likely a QXnnnn series Core 2 processor.... hmm If your processor was manufactured in 2006 it is most likely one of these microprocs: 1. QX9650 2. QX6850 3. QX6800 4. QX6700 All these processors were manufactured between 2006-2007. Mind you since it is an ES, you might not know until you mount it. D: I don't know... =( Edited August 7, 2010 by enigma#
RetiredTacos
Well you didn't tell us what you have now so not sure how we're suppose to tell if it's faster. "Intel Confidential" are the first released engineering samples of CPU's. Doesn't mean it's bad, sometimes that's better then the released version. I'd use it (depending on what you have now) and see how it overclocks
maddog
i have a quad core Q9450 running at 2.66 MHz right now, and thanks for the help, i've determined its a core 2 extreme, not sure specifically how fast till i mount it later Edited August 7, 2010 by maddog
