bort Posted March 21, 2009 Share Posted March 21, 2009 first of all, i'm not necessarily talking about Dano ... just in general. maybe Dano was just trying to make some sort of joke or something... but in general, its not nice to egg people on to kill themselves. personally, i would just leave. most times they are only after attention and by being a witness, no matter if you are saying good or bad things, it will give them motivation to do it. that way, if they do end up killing themselves .... oh well, at least u didnt participate cuz u left once the gun comes out, its best to just leave. if you stay and watch, he knows that you are watching. and then there is an expectation. he has the feeling that if he puts the gun away, he will be a wimp or something who did not go through with it. and then he will be known as the attention whore fa**** who took out a gun and threatened to kill himself just for attention. even if you say sympathetic things to them like "oh its not so bad, dont do it, you'll get over it" they will take it as pitty and they will still kill themselves because they are emo and they want everyone to feel sorry for them, and they just eat that crap up when people feel sorry for them. if they kill themselves, they go out knowing that everybody felt so sorry for him -- his life was sooooooo hard.
