When i went to school i was never picked on by any of the upper classmen and no one ever picked on any of them. i see all these kids on TV that dont stick up for themselves like "OMG I HATE SCHOOL & MY LIFE" its so wierd lol but we did have a lot of gang fights and there were fights started by the "bump the elbow" rule lol

in finishing up my second week lol, i'm a senior at a vocational school ( its called a joint vocational school, because all the schools from my county are a part in it, so i am still a student at my own high school) and i am a half day student so i take my academic classes at the high school, and then i go to the vocational school for my electronics class....the "JOINT" as we call it lol is also very rich, we have like 5000 dollar testing equipment, nice computers, this year we ordered a 5000 dollar power chair just to pimp out with car audio stuff and what not :P

'

anyway, good luck to every one in the coming year.

we also have a lot of fights, and the cliqs are bad too, you got your truck mechanic guys, your Cos girls, your tech building dudes, your auto tech guys, criminal justice guys.......and you got building and grounds, which is where they put all the retarded kids...who constantly talk shit, but your not allowed to hit them.

it all depends where you go, and the number of students, we have like 4000 kids at the vocational school, but we only have like 90 in my high school graduating class.

My sister told me that highschool was terrible and the bullying was horrific, but it really isn't that bad! Just shut up, make few friends and try to get good grades. Being an Eagle Scout also help A LOT. You will love yourself, and so will colleges (for being an Eagle).

Oh, if you're a guy, get rid of your Facebook.

I remember in high school during break one day, this teacher was walking down the middle of the courtyard toward a set of double doors; only one door was propped open.

About the time she was five seconds from the open doorway, this special ed kid started glaring at her from across the tiny courtyard and came to the bright idea of racing over to that doorway and beating her at getting through it. I am sure he felt this was awesome and an epic event he was going to win.

He got so close to making it in but instead she shoved him aside, and he became forced into performing the loudest faceplant into the closed door of the double doors.

It was really hilarious and has nothing to do with you being successful in high school -- he even graduated. You will too (if the gods feel so).

Have fun.

tl;dr: You better read the fucker, ... fucker.

Lol. *sighs contentedly* i remember freshman week. Lol, it sucked if you were a freshman but wasn't bad if you were higher. My high school had a habit of select group of people each year who were seniors that would take it upon themselves to humiliate freshman as badly as possible. Course a couple of them are in jail now for sexual harassment cause they took it too far, but it was usually done for laughs and we always made sure nobody got hurt (too badly at least. a couple scrapes and cuts was ok.)

lol, how many of us HG members and recruits are freshman? *raises hand*

oh and

what are you talking about? everyone uses facebook, dosen't mean you're not masculine if you do, if you don't you might even be considered lame

I believe he means avoid facebook drama. make your fb private, don't post stupid shit, and don't let people post stupid shit on your fb. Most of my younger cousins facebook pages are cringe worthy.

High School is honestly the biggest joke. You don't even have to put 100% effort and you should be getting honour roll every term/semester. Socially, get out there! This is the time where all your friends are together for a short period of time. Don't pretend you're busy because you're too shy to go to a party and interact with the opposite gender. Before you know it...they're on the other side of the country in college. Do your homework and make sure to attend most of the social gatherings.

agreed on the socializing part. after HS, you never know if your buddies will get married, move, go in military at some point, etc. Have as much fun as possible and hang with your friends before they get too occupied or far away from you in the future. I regret being 100% myself on this and hardly see my good friends much.

That's what their helmets are for though, right?

Why do you count how far you live in meters

And how is freshman year the most important

Land nav is measured in meters. :P

Anyway, high school all and all isn't bad at all. There are going to be people from all walks of life that all think they have it worse than they do and there are going to be bullies and jocks that think they're king of the fetuses, but I could break their noses with my dick WITHOUT an erection.

With NCLB in effect (thanks, G.W.) the academic standards are so low that you only need to show up. Even the functionally retarded graduate, and that's not a joke against them. Hell, I missed 96-some odd classes my senior year and managed a 3.4 GPA that year.

Just don't be a douche. HS spawned some of the best memories of my life. One day, you'll miss the days when you could screw around with your friends with no regard for responsibility without it getting you divorced or fired.

Freshman year was easy, short, didn't get made fun of, didn't get in that much trouble.

Do your work, and high school is so easy it's ridiculous.

We take our Graduation test our sophomore year. the test is supposedly easier than the practice test we took in freshman year.
