VeN Posted September 3, 2010 Share Posted September 3, 2010 So before we start ive be getting those problems with my fps since February Okay my problem is with my fps...It randomly falls from 120 to 15, 4 minutes after i start playing games such as Mw2 Css gmod tf2 and Assassins Greed Here are my specs Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT 4 GB Ram Windows Xp 32 bit MS-7380 I've made a thread 6 days ago about buying a new graphics card such as EVGA GTX 460 768 MB but i don't know if i should spend so much money on a graphics card (250$) A Guy told me that my graphics card is might overheating but after i tried HWMonitor the temps were too low.Here is a SS If you have any ideas.Please post them! enigma# Posted September 3, 2010 Share Posted September 3, 2010 @ Your CPU Temperatures. They seem extremely high for idling... I get about 34-43 degrees Celsius on idle and mine's overclocked. You may want to take a look at reseating your CPU or at least reapplying the thermal paste. Take it to a local computer shop and see if they are able to do it for you.
