I Love Lamp Posted March 25, 2009 Share Posted March 25, 2009 I'm still a big Conroe fan. Running a 3.0 core 2 duo, I haven't found anything that's caused a bottleneck at the CPU. And hooray for NVIDIA trying to slap the biggest heat sink on the biggest chip they can fit on the biggest board that won't tear out your slots, or protrude from your case. Eventually they'll just cut out the middleman and make "nATX" cases which expand an extra foot all around the PCI slots, which will be spaced 2 feet apart.
