you should know that your mental health may change in unexpected ways while you are taking this medication. It is hard to tell if these changes are caused by zolpidem or if they are caused by physical or mental illnesses that you already have or suddenly develop. Tell your doctor right away if you experience any of the following symptoms: aggressiveness, strange or unusually outgoing behavior, hallucinations (seeing things or hearing voices that do not exist), feeling as if you are outside of your body, memory problems, difficulty concentrating, slowed speech or movements, new or worsening depression, thinking about killing yourself, confusion, and any other changes in your usual thoughts, mood, or behavior.

may make you drowsy during the day, and may increase the risk that you will fall.

some people who took zolpidem got out of bed and drove their cars, prepared and ate food, had sex, made phone calls, or were involved in other activities while partially asleep. After they woke up, these people were usually unable to remember what they had done.

I am gonna try this to help me sleep. Last resort.

It's Ambien and it works like crap. I had taken it at one time and all I did was take and and was on the phone with someone and ended up falling asleep then about 3 hours later I was wide awake. It didn't keep me sleeping all night long. It's a stupid med and doesn't work for shit.

But if you want to take it for the side affects then go ahead...they rarely ever happen like they say. The only reason there are so many side effects on a med is because 1 person out of 5000 had that one side effect and then they have to label it on the med.

No I want to take it so I can sleep at night. Its kind of a massive hindrance.

I'm not worried bout the side effects. But they said it addictive and shouldn't be taken longer than 2 weeks. I don't need any more addictions.

The wife is telling me to deal with it. But I've always been this way with sleeping. I'm sick of it.

The only reason why it's addictive is because it's a benzodiazepine drug (such as Valium, Klonopin, Paxipam, etc) which is a psychoactive drug. I don't think you need to be taking it. What I do suggest is to get a sleep study done to see what your main problem is about sleeping and why you can't sleep. Taking a drug such as the above will cause you a physical dependence because you will think you need it all the time in order to fall asleep.

Try taking Tylenol PM or Benadryl....always helps me fall asleep. But you have to take it and go and lay down and relax. No playing CSS or being on the computer after you take it. Otherwise you will never relax enough to sleep.
