Cr(+)sshair
No one really knows this but I beatboxed with Kenny Muhammad and 30 other world-wide beatboxers at the 2004 Human Beatbox Convention in NYC. My nickname at the time was Cazper. Also did a benefit for Kenny when he was locked up for arguing with a cop in Chicago. Peace Family! Wow, I don't know where to start....... Saturday in NYC was one of the most positive & Uplifting experiences I've been part of in quite some time. Kidlucky once again came through in short notice with a show that could be put down in history. The performers were all off the damn hook and incredibly precise with solid beatboxing skills. The more the beatboxer entertainment family gets together, the more the bond between us gets stronger and more solid. Much love to everyone who came out in such short notice to help support and show their love to Kenny Muhammad and his lovely family. D.O.A was one of the most fitting host's for this event, and one hell of a nice guy as well. His sounds and delivery were impecable. If you have never seen D.O.A perform before, look out for him, because he is at the top of his game. A True Legend. CAZPER rocked the house with his set and is always very inspiring to the youth in this genre. This was the second time i've seen Cazper and he's definitely stepping up his game. Keep up whatever you're doing kid - rock on. Chesney Snow once again ripped the stage with his unique and innovating style of beatboxing. Always a treat to see Chesney perform. A whole lot of talent wrapped up into one very kind individual. Much love and respect chez! ABSTRACT dropped some funk on the crowd with his brand of style that is also progressing further everytime he hits the stage. Very precise with his sounds and delivery. BBE can't wait to see what's next for Abstract. Ben Zviti brought to the stage his unique skills and presence as he always does. I always am very excited to hear when Ben is on the roster. very humble and respectful cat. I've also seen Ben peform quite a few times and each and every time he steps it up another notch. you rock kid! Kid Lucky Blew our minds with a set that included one of the most incredible vocalists i've ever seen live ''not for profit'' ( i hope that's how you spell his name) What an incredible combination of talent this was. you honestly have to see these two cats rock out to understand what I am talking about. Between Kid Luck'y style and ''not for profit's'' voice - this act was worth the ticket price alone. Their set left us wanting to hear more from these two guys. Unmatched! SEMEROCK - all I have to say is woah... what an honor it was for me to be on the stage rocking out with so many other very talented performers. I had an absolute blast. SCRATCH::::: Where the hell do I start on this? Completely unbelievable! You can only Imagine what DJ SCRATCH put together for this show. By far the most incredible solo performance I have ever seen live by any beatboxer. His set lasted for about 15 minutes and every second had the crowd's jaw dropping in amazement. Mad Props to SCRATCH for coming out from Philly on such short notice to show love and support to Kenny in this time of need. SCRATCH also stayed for the entire night and set off the BBE Symphony Jam session that we always do at our shows. Very humble and Inspiring Individual SCRATCH is. Pleasure to finally meet him in person and one hell of an honor to perform with SCRATCH. YAKO (open Thought) - Yako blew the roof off of the bowery with his solo set. This cat has the unique abillity to control a crowd like no other. His audience participation skills are unreal. Yako adds a certain dynamic to beatboxing by getting the entire place invloved in his show. It really adds a whole new flavor to beatboxing and this style of performing. His extensive musical knowledge is completely evident when you see him perform. Yako has sounds that are remarkablly loud and on point. His groove had us all noddin' our heads from the time he stepped up on stage until the time he stopped rocking. Look out for Yako and Open Thought. Much Love YAKO... what a pleasure to be around someone like this! The Night continued on with an array of double sets... D.O.A & SCRATCH started off the jam sessions with sets that would be too hard for me to put into words. Every performer from the show got back up on stage to jam with SCRATCH & D.O.A. - Absolute Insanity! Towards the end of the evening, Kenny Muhammad's parents & brother graced the stage and spread some love to the crowd and performers on kenny's behalf. what an honor to meet them as well. after the show some of the performers hung out in the green room for an impromtu jam session behind closed doors. wow, i know we all wish this one was recorded. I will be posting pictures of the event ASAP. WE HAVE TONS. On board for the evening was an incredible photographer ( kate geruntho ) - http://www.k8te.com - who documented the entire evening show & even some group shots and some of the freestyle cyphers that were blessing the back room & streets in front of the bowery. wait until y'all see these pictures - thanks to kate! PEACE LOVE & Mad RESPECT to our whole BBE Family! 2005 it's on! and most of all - Hang in there Kenny! We Love ya brother. This night will be instilled in my memory for quite some time........ http://www.humanbeatbox.com/forum/showthread.php?t=16765&highlight=Cazper Also another event, Live video mixing from Bill Etra and Berkoy Followed by the Human Beatbox Jam Session feat 14 human beatboxer including: Akim Funk Buddha, Aleks, Baba Israel, Chesney Snow, Semerock, Ben Zviti, Cazper and a whole lot more. A mixture of Hip Hop, house, funk, drum & bass, and vocal electronics. You will be dancing all over the floor! Ya heard?! I can guarantee you all that I'm the best beatboxer on these forums =P
