Question about kicking people.

Alright, earlier today. eDreams ~ Deja was skipping about, with a ping of about 150, he was lagging pretty hard and it was pretty fucking hard to hit him.

 

Now I asked him to fix his ping and or rates if they were the cause, and that if he couldn't fix them he's going I was going to have to ask him to leave or I will have to boot him because it's unfair to other players that they can't hit him because he's lagging and teleporting all over.

 

Now, his response to this was "BLAAH - IF YOU KICK ME, I'll GET YER ADMIN TAKEN AWAY, THAT'S ABUSE, THE MAX PING IN THIS SERVER IS 250" or whatever. Now, unfortunately Ventrilo is down so I couldn't go on there and ask, so I figured I'd ask if it's still possible for me to kick him or should I leave him alone?

I think you guys can run "ma_rates". Then if his rates are screwed up and he doesn't fix them you can kick him. Ban if he keeps coming back without complying.

I can't use the ma_rates command in office :/

you put sv_rates +100 and its going to show ur ping 1.....every one like votebanning me. Not every one just 1 or 2 people...

clark, ma_rates isn't allowed to anybody other than like, rcon accessible admins. I've tried it before and it says that I don't have the privilages of using that command. I've tried it atleast once on every HG server and it says the same thing every time.
