Is it safe overclocking a laptop's video card ?

 

NONONONONONONOES!

 

Overclocking on desktop and laptop are two different worlds. Laptops have cooling problems without overclocking. Overclocking reliably on a laptop would be too much work for too little gain. Not to mention, as F4ithl3ss said, it will reduce the life of your laptop. If you want to overclock, build a desktop

@Second line, alright maybe I took the wrong example, anyways adding a bad configuration also messes up with the hardware, for example adding more cycles then is possible for the graphic card/cpu to handle, it will cause permanent damage.
