F4ithl3ss
Overclocking isn't safe at all, not to mention it reduces the useful life of your shit, don't do it
Bob the Android Penguin
Is it safe overclocking a laptop's video card ? NONONONONONONOES! Overclocking on desktop and laptop are two different worlds. Laptops have cooling problems without overclocking. Overclocking reliably on a laptop would be too much work for too little gain. Not to mention, as F4ithl3ss said, it will reduce the life of your laptop. If you want to overclock, build a desktop

CrazyHorse One-Eight
Overclocking is a bad idea in general, if you fuck the configuration up you might blow up your computer (^^). Therefore, I do not recommend this, this also fucks up the warranty of your laptop(if you have one). Your choice.

Fps_Ben
Not a good idea on a laptop. You may possibly see pretty lines and dots pop up on your screen later in its like if you overclock. My opinions..... stay away from lappy oc'ing
CrazyHorse One-Eight
Wrong Wrong Maybe @First line, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overclocking#Graphics_cards @Second line, alright maybe I took the wrong example, anyways adding a bad configuration also messes up with the hardware, for example adding more cycles then is possible for the graphic card/cpu to handle, it will cause permanent damage. Are you really arguing with me over this? How much overclocking have you PERSONALLY done?

No i'm not, therefore I said it's his own choice to do it. I've done overclocking myself, not on my laptop though.
